I must have entirely missed Trinov in the past. First time I am hearing this name. Is it proven to re-grow hair for a Norwood 6 type? Not stop hair fall, I am interested in new hair growth/re-growth. Thanks.

    • Follicle Thought on January 9, 2019 at 6:30 pm

This is the name of the Brotzu Lotion Trevor.

      • Joe on January 12, 2019 at 11:50 am

I bought two bottles and using it for about a week. I noticed my hair loss is much less and growing new hairs on the sides and little ones by both temples. So good so far.

        • Frank on January 12, 2019 at 8:34 pm

You noticed good results just in a week, sounds amazing, do you have any side effects using this product?

          • Joe on January 13, 2019 at 11:37 am

Yea pretty good so far. And no side effects in day to day living at all. All little irritation on top of scalp but likely from me scratching it lol.

What si the website that i can buy this product?

  2. Jack on January 9, 2019 at 6:34 pm

I have been using Trinov for 7 days. I thought that hair fall was starting to reduce but will have a better idea in the next week. According to the studies 7 days was the mark where patients saw a reduction but probably too early to be sure.

    • Craig on January 9, 2019 at 7:11 pm

Thank You so much for your update Jack I will be on the lookout for more.
I still haven’t had any luck with finding a pharmacy that has English option when you go to order and checkout. I have contacted Fidia and only got an email saying some will ship to the USA but when the pharmacy web pages are only in Italian it no help at all .I have tried Google translate but it also is no help. Best of luck Jack with Trinov we all have been waiting to try it.

      • Jack on January 10, 2019 at 12:28 am

Hey Craig, just go with efarma. Use google translate during the check out phase- take your time – it’s pretty straight forward. The check out works like checking out in an English speaking site – but have google translate open as well and double check key words etc. Should end up costing about $120 or there about s ( costs more to ship to Australia) only takes a few days to arrive. Cheers j

  3. Alan J on January 10, 2019 at 4:03 am

Started using Trinov four days ago, so too early to tell. With shipping to the UK it costs around £80 for a month’s supply, so quite expensive. I am also using Finesteride and Minoxidil, but they have not stopped my hair loss. Time will tell if adding Trinov makes a difference to me: I will give it around six months. Am pleased that there is a spray option. If you order be careful to specify the product that is for men or women as the case may be.

    • T on January 11, 2019 at 3:51 am

Hi Alan, when I try to order with efarma it doesn’t like my English postcode in the cap field. It keeps going red and won’t let me complete the order. How did you get around this? Many thanks

  4. Alan J on January 10, 2019 at 4:08 am

PS as mentioned above, am using the spray. The bottle is only 30ml and is supposed to last a month. I think (?) that is around 4 or 5 sprays a day (given that you only use once: in my case in the morning). Grateful if someone else who is using could comment on this as I don’t want to run out too quickly (especially given the cost) or, indeed, not use to its full effect. thanks

    • Anthony Little on April 28, 2019 at 10:08 pm

6 sprays per treatment is what the directions on the box say. That’s equivalent to 1 ml if using the dropper.

I have tried to contact epharma, com but they don’t reply

  6. Tranz Punk on January 10, 2019 at 12:49 pm

  7. T on January 10, 2019 at 3:18 pm

I have tried to order via efarma but it won’t accept my postcode in the CAP field. I’m going to have to call them to try and order unless any one has any ideas?

  8. Ry on January 10, 2019 at 5:29 pm

@Jack or anyone, where did you buy the lotion ? I’m desparate to find website to find it. I live in Europe. thx in advance

  9. Chris T on January 10, 2019 at 10:08 pm

How can we order it in the U.S.? I was looking on the efarma website and United States was not an option for shipping.

    • Pi on January 11, 2019 at 12:59 pm

I successfully ordered Trinov from Efarma. I live in the United States. It took several days to arrived in my address using DHL. I used Chrome browser and the google translate helps me translate the page from Italian to English conveniently. A bottle (one month supply) ended up about 120USD including shipping fee. I suppose that people from other countries can order it from Efarma as well. You’d better registered an account on Efarma. If you lived in the united states, in the shipping address setting page, choose “Stati Uniti (United States)” from the countries field. Then, CAP field can accept five digit us zip code. Just type you street address in English.

      • BR on January 15, 2019 at 4:28 pm

Hey Pi, thanks for sharing your US ordering experience! Can you please confirm if you were charged any additional costs for customs/duty?

Anyone knows a straightforward way to find out if duty is owed for ordering stuff like Trinov in the US? Maybe beyond a certain value limit? I’ve tried checking the CBP website but found it confusing.

BTW, it seems that Efarma only sells 1 bottle per customer for now, but Farmacia Sant’Antonio ships to the US too.

        • Pi on January 16, 2019 at 4:35 pm

Hi BR. I confirm that I didn’t pay customs/duty. The price I saw when I checked out in Efarma is the price I pay. (If you use a US credit card with foreign transaction fee, you may be charged several dollars but there are many credit cards that don’t charge.) By the way, Efarma only sells 1 bottle per time, not per customer because just recently I ordered a new one for my next month treatment. Thank you for telling me Farmacia Sant’Antonio has US shipping option. Please come back and share your experience (whether you can buy many bottles). Also dear readers, if you search “Efarma coupon” on Google, you can likely find a coupon to reduce the price by several dollars (not much, more profitable coupon requires the total purchase amount to exceed 100EUR but you can only buy one item per time on Efarma so total price is lower than 100EUR which is annoying).

    • Ed Mann on January 15, 2019 at 10:12 pm

      stati uniti = united states

    • Anthony Little on April 28, 2019 at 10:13 pm

Try parcl.com. I was able to successfully order a 6 months supply. Cost me $564.98 which comes to $94.08 per bottle. Shipped to the US.

  10. Alan J on January 11, 2019 at 3:50 am

I ordered from Farmaci Sant’ Antonio. Took around two weeks to arrive. A delivery charge of around £8 to the UK. Not sure whether this is only available in Europe: but certainly ships to the UK. I hope Brexit does not mess this up. If only we would come to our senses and remain in the EU.

    • Follicle Thought on January 11, 2019 at 12:52 pm

      Thank you!

  11. abundancegwappa on January 12, 2019 at 6:32 pm

Guys im in Canada and ordered from farmacia sanantonio. They are out of the stock at moment but i should be recieving soon.

    • Frank on January 13, 2019 at 2:55 pm

Also from Canada. Tried efarma. Was very fast and always in stock. But holy shit was it expensive. 185 Canadian.

  12. darrenwharton on January 13, 2019 at 5:56 am

Hi guys, just wondering, if this lotion works and pray to God it does! Would we need to carry on the treatment constantly in order to keep the new hair? Or will it be a case of applying less regularly, once the hair has regrown? for those of you who have received the product, does it mention this in the instructions?

  13. Ry on January 13, 2019 at 9:31 am

@hokestra, Thanks a lot ! Was able to order some. Won’t do before and after pics, but will keep forum updated after 1 month. If I feel it works, will pursue beyond and keep you posted.

  14. Frank on January 13, 2019 at 2:53 pm

How to order: I’m Canadian. Ordered via efarma. Extremely easy and fast via DHL you WILL pay another tax upon arrival. 40 dollars worth. Total cost of 1 product is 185 Canadian dollars. Insane. I know.

Quality of product: super oily. I’m so disappointed. Not to discourage anyone but just very disappointed. No bad odor however. So that’s plus. It’s very runny – meaning it drips down fast. Yea I know, oily and yet runny. Makes no sense.

Only two weeks in. Nothing to report. HOWEVR, I’m so skeptical of the guys here saying they have growth after 1-3 weeks. Like come on. Even with a product that may work 100%, Hair cycles do not work that way. You simply will Not see new growth within 1-2 weeks. Admin please try to moderate spam or fake reviews. I know it’s tough but that’s flat out hard to imagine. Be weary folks.

Getting prescription for oral minoxidil too. First ever post here but I’ll come back in 3-4 months to update on the progress. Good luck everyone.

    • Lisa on January 13, 2019 at 10:48 pm

Thank you Frank for keeping it real. Would like to hear you review several months in,

    • MIchael B on January 24, 2019 at 5:51 pm

Hi Frank. Yes, I agree. These guys posting about growth in one week is ridiculous. With the amount of hair loss material out there how can people still try to lie like that?

Where did you get the oral minoxidil?

I ask because I am in Canada too. Ontario.

How much does the oral minoxidil cost per month? Any side effects? Url?

    • Anthony Little on April 28, 2019 at 10:17 pm

I’ve been using the product now for 3 months and have definitely noticed a substantial decrease in shedding. New growth is still up for debate but even Trinov states it takes about 6 months to realize any new growth.

  15. Den on January 13, 2019 at 4:47 pm

It will be possible to regrow with Trinov from Norwood 3 to Norwood 1 or even Norwood 0?

    • Georgina Butler on January 14, 2019 at 4:37 am

      No ?

      • Denis on January 15, 2019 at 11:02 am

Can you explain why? Just answer ‘no’ means nothing.

        • Ben on January 16, 2019 at 3:46 pm

We still don’t know exactly what it is capable of doing however according to the company, they claim it can maintain hair for men and regrow hair for women.

If you’re Norwood 3 and Trinov actually works, it might be a good product to use to prevent Norwood 4 and give you some time for another product.

  16. Hope on January 15, 2019 at 12:51 pm

People trialling Trinov have reported on other sites that they have noticed decreased hair shedding after 7 days to 2 weeks or so on Trinov. The skeptic in me is wondering if the decreased shedding is related to the seasonal hair fall cycle and not a result of the product? Hair naturally sheds more late summer and fall…. I can personally attest that my hair stopped shedding by Jan 2019 and I haven’t started Trinov. Any thoughts? If this is the case a genius move by the company to release the product this time of the year. Just an observation.

    • Follicle Thought on January 15, 2019 at 2:06 pm

I have to admit in gentle humility, the theory seems quite grandiose after a 2 yr wait from an established pharma co. Best wishes

  17. Jack on January 15, 2019 at 4:00 pm

    Hi again everyone,
Just my update after 13 days on Trinov. After 7 days I reported that it looked like shedding had decreased. I can absolutely confirm now that at this stage I can definitely confirm this. I have mid length curly hair. I wash it every night and get about 100 hairs come out each night in shedding. This is no exaggeration as whilst my hair is drying the hair fall tangles with other hair and I have to cut these ‘hair balls”out because I am too worried to comb them out in case more hair comes out.
My girl friend thinks its quite funny really because my hair seems thick and she doesn’t understand that i ve been losing a fair bit of hair since last January. For the last few washes after seeing what I thought was Trinov results I left my hair for 2 days at a time before washes. Usually this would result in major hair fall and tangled hair balls-but this has not been the case and I would confidently say that my shedding has been reduced by 40-50 %. It’s high summer here in Australia and I always loose about the same amount of hair year round, but typically I see the stressful results of this from Jan through to March.

I have seen some small hairs come in that haven’t grown for a few years ( the buts at the side below the temple but about an inch above the eyes ( whatever that part of your head is??) Those bits have been receding back for years. I won’t know for certain but i’ve taken a photo and will monitor to see if this continues. Obviously as far as overall hair growth I can’t attest to anything until 3 months when the hair cycle is well underway and I see if hairs that have fallen in the cycle previously grow in, but so far it’s improved my stress levels regarding losing hair and I’ve stopped checking my head heaps during the day to check for hair loss.

Just a few notes to add. This site is a really nice community where people are courteous and patient with each other, unlike some “hair sites” where the people actually start fights and arguments with each other. Lets keep Follicle Thought this way, even if there are differences in opinion.

Also there would be few of us here who are not professional hair experts, nor product guru’s-so I think it’s great to share experiences and results of products, but could we keep opinions of products based on these experiences-rather than unfounded opinion ( as what we believe a product can or can not do based merely on opinion. Presently this is all over the internet and some people who are not trying Trinov actually comment like they want it to fair and that it has to be a scam. This is new and we are all trying something new and don’t really know what to expect. Lastly, this is not minoxidil so the comparisons between product results are inaccurate and unhelpful as both ( to my understanding) work in different ways. Lets keep this thread to Trinov progress so we can see just what the product is capable of.

interesting you live in australia. because, I’m having problems with customs, its been sitting in customs for 20 days. they have asked for purchase invoice, which I’ve sent and still waiting on answer on why the hold up ….cant believe this country, just a joke

Very helpful Jack thanks for sharing.

    • Alex on May 4, 2019 at 7:28 pm

Hi Jack, Thank you for your detailed feedback. Can I apply it after my morning shower and letting it dry a bit and then blow dry my hair? does it make you hair feel oily/greasy? I also use hair fibers after my blow dry daily to hide my tinning area. Will the hair fiber harm or take the lotion effect away? truly looking forward to your feedback.

  18. BR on January 15, 2019 at 4:32 pm

If I may ask – is anyone using Trinov after having done hair transplant surgery (FUE)?

I’m considering doing the latter soon, and wondering if Trinov is safe to use after HT surgery – or even helpful in getting the implanted hair to regrow sooner?

  19. babulreddy on January 17, 2019 at 12:39 am

where to order to get trinov for Indians? ,
can trinov give results if minoxidil ineffective or can it be used concomitantly with minoxidil ?

  20. Alan J on January 17, 2019 at 12:21 pm

Think twice before using Farmacia Sant Antonio: they have not shipped for over a week and now send an email saying they have changed their courier and want an extra 10 Euros before sending the product (!). No wonder the Italian economy has stalled for the past thirty years…

    • galenico on January 23, 2019 at 5:35 am

Dear Alan, we asked you 10€ extra because we are now using DHL International Courier, that is safer and faster. We ship worldwide in 48-72 hours, and all our customers are really happy about that.

      • Steve on February 12, 2019 at 4:06 pm

I ordered on February 6th and have heard nothing since I received the order confirmation. What is going on?

  21. Chris on January 20, 2019 at 1:27 am

Hi everyone, I’m based in China and I’m trying to order Trinov from Efama. But from their website it says (with google translate) the product is subject to a strong price cut and therefore I cannot order more than one bottle. Have any of you guys experienced the same thing? With all the added cost, shipping one bottle at a time is not an option. thanks.

    • Aldo on January 22, 2019 at 2:57 am

Hi Chris , I’ve been buying hair products from Farmacia Loreto Gallo for about a year and now they sell trinov as well and it’s the cheapest price that i have seen, I just ordered 4 bottles and they ship internationally.(I live in Australia and last order arrived in 5 days)They don’t charge IVA for international orders. The site is in Italian only but its easy to navigate. It might be worth checking them out,

  22. Hope on January 21, 2019 at 7:15 am

    Hello,

Yes with efarma you can only order 1 bottle at a time.

  23. michael pearce on January 22, 2019 at 9:16 am

BE CAREFUL OF SAN ANTONIO PHARMACY… I paid the full price with shipping and didn’t get a response for 5 days until I was told that they want an extra €10 for shipping because they changed courier. I said they can send me the product or issue me a refund because I’m not handing over more money after the agreed price had already been paid. They issued me a refund but it wasn’t the full amount.
I would stay away as their Google reviews are really bad. Often switching the product for a generic one seems to come up

  24. Emmy on January 22, 2019 at 11:58 pm

Placed an order with FARMACIA SANT’ANTONIO. No problem checking out (in English). Paid with Paypal and they use DHL to delivery (about 2 weeks to US)…Product and shipping cost me $115.

Admin, do you or perhaps someone from your readers, have information regarding systemic side effects of the DHT lowering ingredient of this product ?

  26. Michael B on January 24, 2019 at 6:00 pm

Guys, when you post, can you please try to include your location? Getting feedback about a Pharmacy and shipping isn’t much help if we don’t know where you ship to?

    Thanks

  27. Manhattan on January 24, 2019 at 10:30 pm

I placed an order just now with FARMACIA SAN’ANTONIO. I’ll let people here know when I get it.

  28. MC on January 25, 2019 at 9:24 am

I live in the UK and bought mine from Top Farmacia (https://www.topfarmacia.it)

I ordered 6 units and they arrived today, nicely packaged and in good condition. My only caveat is that the site seems to actually store passwords (since they emailed me mine :P), so I’d advise using a randomly-generated one if you shop from there. 😉 On the other hand, I had to contact their customer service a few times (since there were delays due to the Christmas period), and they replied really quickly each time, so that’s a plus.

  29. Nick on January 25, 2019 at 11:09 pm

I’ve ordered some from eFarma and received it in about a week in the US. Seems to be a very great company with follow up emails and clear shipping info from DHL. Only problem is one bottle per order. I’ve been using it for nearly a month and I think I see results, however I’m going to give it more time to be sure. Also someone had translated the instructions on YouTube to either a dropper full or 6 sprays twice a day. I can say with 6 sprays and you run out quick. I haven’t made it the full month and am about out. Re ordering was just as easy on my iPad using Microsoft translate with Safari. Takes about 4 days to the US. The only issue I see at this point is cost if the product goes that fast, it going to be a pricey regimen. Also does anyone have info on if minox and or propecia can be used with it?? I’ve backed off both for now, but would gladly start them if it were a old combo.

    • Mark on January 28, 2019 at 4:01 am

I am living in Germany and ordered from efarma (very fast but a bit expensive) and San Antonio so far (slower, but arrived).

I use it for 1 month now.
The shedding has decreased quite fast was was very minimal after 1, 2 weeks maybe. I am not sure, but I think it increased a bit after that again but it is still way below the level before that.
I used nothing else by the way because of sides.

Since I have a bit more to cover I use more than the 6 pumps they suggest. I think even with 6 a day the amount will probably not be enough for 1 whole month.
Sometimes it’s hard to apply because it sticks to the hair and does not reach the skin, even when when you bush the hair to the side. No idea how to make that more efficient but I guess it won’t help if you have it in the hair so that is kinda tricky.
Besides, after using too much 3x, because I was not concentrated (maybe 10-12 pumps?), I think I got kind of a dizzy head. It felt strange for sure.
Went away after 1-2 hours maybe.

It is a bit oily and causes a slightly wet look, so I apply it 2 hours before I go to bed, don’t want to go to work like that.

It is hard to see any difference on the head yet. But I have 1 temple with less hair then the other side. It is kinda small and falls out quickly, but it was not completely gone!
I think it already improved. It is longer now and did not fall out like before. Made a picture and if it is clearly better in a few weeks and I can be sure I will share maybe.

      Best wishes, Mark

  30. Jack on January 26, 2019 at 4:41 pm

Hi again, I’ve been using Trinov now for 24 days ( just ran out of first bottle). I agree with Nick that it’s going to be expensive. Hopefully Fidia will allow some international partners so we ca start buying it more locally-the 40 Euro shipping is a killer although they are fast and efficient. Efarma has been great and DHL have been really good-no issues with customs so far that I’ve experienced.

I have been reading the thread over at hairless2020 ( i think thats its proper name). I will not sign up and contribute to that site especially with my review of Trinov-on that site they abuse, argue and fight with each other, and try and put down people who are trialling Trinov-even guys who are posting pictures of progress. I even read that one guy had gone over to follicle thought and said that the reviews we were posting here are all fake! What benefit or impetus we would have to write fake reviews astounds me-I thought it was a case of just trying to give people a bit of help and an update of the product so they can be better informed as to whether it might work for them. There seem to be some bitter and messed up people on some of the hair loss forums who really don’t want other people to benefit in any way if they themselves are not, and obvioulsy there are people who have more severe hair loss, and are older who may have further to come back from with their hair loss, and so Trinov may not be as effective for them and they ‘ll have to wait for something else to come along involving hair cloning etc. Again reading and following some of the posts on those sites puts me off contributing, and pushes my mind set to-i’m encouraged enough by Trinov so far, so i might just keep it to myself to avoid any backlash from other posters-seriously having someone post photos and then have someone try and disprove the photos, or these people don’t even look at everything on the posts and just start posting that Trinov is a scam????

That being said I’ve used Trinov now for 24 days. Presently it appears to have reduced my shedding by about 50 percent and as I mentioned in my last update-my hair sheds after every wash and I have to cut out the hairballs this creates as I loose a lot of hair-this isn’t happening since Trinov has kicked in-it’s nothing to do with seasonal variations. This has subsequently made the process of hair washing way less stressful. I have new hair on the lower temple bits where I haven’t had hair for years-this isn’t as exciting as having it up on my hairline -but it is obvious growth and its hair that hasn’t been there for years-it is dark and not vellus-and is growing ( I have a before photo but waiting until the difference is significant before I post both side by side) . I have vellus hair in parts of my hair line that is very fine-but new and quite hard to see. if it matures over the next month or so this will be amazing.

Overal things are happening but it is too early to say whether these improvements will continue or plateau. My main worry is that like everything hair treatment related our bodies will get used to it and eventually it will have limited or no further effect. I ‘ve had this with more treatments so far.

    Hello All,

    I bought mine from farmaciabosciaclub.it

It took two weeks to arrive. But that was as it wasn’t in stock yet. I purchased 4 bottles in mid december. By Dec 23/4 they had arrived. Not bad

I am a solid Norwood 3 with arabic curly hair of a few centimetres long. Started using it on the 28th December. So a month in already.

Week 1 – Definite improvement in texture of the hair. Felt softer and less crispy, which it did on my temples before eventually falling out. So was a good sign. Didn’t notice reduced fall, but to be completely honest, falling hair is not how ive been measuring my hair loss. More the actual missing areas on my temples.

Week 2 – Continued improvement in the texture of the hair. Started paying closer attention to the temple areas where the hair was so fine and miniaturised there that it was basically clear and barely visible. Like a really fine moustache you might find on a girl.

Week 3 – Hair texture is vastly improved. Looks and feels noticeably healthier. A few of the hairs on the temples start to darken and turn frizzy.

Week 4 – Hair texture is great now. Feels quite robust. Hard to distinguish any difference in texture between the front and the crown, which there most definitely was before. The only difference is a feeling of less density. Which was to be expected as I believe the front part of my hair was just about ready to disappear one month ago. There are more hairs on my temples turning black and a bit pube like.

In short. Trinnov is definitely having a big positive effect after one month.

However the extent of which its actually stopping hairloss or regrowing the hair on my temples is not quite certain yet. But if it continues to improve like this then I could very well be pleasantly surprised.

    Solid positive start.

    • Esh f. on March 6, 2019 at 1:26 pm

      Month 2:

Hair texture and quality continues to improve. Even though the improvement is less drastic than the first month.

More hairs turning black at the temples, but still flimsy pube like hairs. Lots of those appearing under the previously thinning front of my hair. That contributes to that part looking thicker and also feels stronger than 2 months ago.

Some points of month 2 I started to question if it was working still but at the end of the month can definitely say there is improvement.

So far so good. The clinical trail was 6 months as documented, and so far the improvements are as documented. Lets see after the 9-12 month period if things get interesting. Or crap.

      • Alex on May 4, 2019 at 7:43 pm

Hi Esh, thank you for your detailed feedback. Can I apply it after my shower wait a bit to dry and then blow dry? does it make your hair oily/greasy?

  32. MC on January 28, 2019 at 9:48 am

In relation to what Nick said above, the instructions on the bottle actually say to use six sprays or TWO droppers (not one).

  33. Craig on January 28, 2019 at 6:57 pm

Esh f Thanks for the encouraging feedback ,I am in week 2 now and texture is feeling better on myself also.

  34. Manhattan on January 28, 2019 at 11:06 pm

Just to update, I ordered last Thursday and my Trinov came in. I will start it first thing tomorrow morning. I used Google translate to read the instructions. I’m going to give it the 6 month period it recommends along with using Nizoral for Shampoo. I can’t afford finasteride.

Jack, you’re not alone in seeing meanness in those sites. I found through lurking there is a lot of hostility and negativity towards any new treatment that’s not done by Dr. Tsuji. Also too, some of those posters at hairlosscure2020 (I think that’s the site you mentioned) have that tunnel vision and sometimes I think they don’t want new treatments with their outlook.

    I’ll keep progress updated weekly.

  35. David on January 29, 2019 at 9:38 am

Hi guys just received my two bottles of Trinov and started one application today and notice its nice and non greasy and soaks into scalp with light massage and does not smell at all after using minoxidil over the years its great lets hope it works for me i am on 5mg proscar a week which i take half on say mon and another at end of the week.

    • MRKA on January 31, 2019 at 2:23 am

David, a bit off topic. Proscar has a very short half life…in contrast to Avodart.
You may want to reconsider the way you take it.
Propecia is taken daily..ideally around the same time and for good reason. I do understand of course that Proscar has five times the strength of Propecia. Hence you may want to split Proscar in small pieces of roughly equal size.

      Regards
      M

      • davelee30 on February 6, 2019 at 5:33 am

Hi this is how spencer takes his although i think he takes 10mg once a week by the way spencer as in the bald truth radio show online.

  36. Olufson on January 31, 2019 at 7:31 am

Mark, With respect to your comment that Trinov is “hard to apply because it sticks to the hair”, you might try wetting your hair in the sink and then towel drying enough so that water isn’t dripping down your face. If you apply Trinov when your hair and scalp is damp, it will spread and work into the scalp much easier. This is how I have always applied minoxidil and there are some studies that show that minoxidil absorbs better on a damp scalp. it is working fine for me this way but I also apply over 3 times the amount.

    • Alex on May 4, 2019 at 7:46 pm

Hi Olufson, Does it make your hair oily/greasy after applying it?

  37. Dan on February 1, 2019 at 5:08 pm

Reader from England. I ordered Trinov at 12:03 on Jan 31st and it arrived at 10:54 on Feb 1st. Incredible (even for 20 euros).

I have just used it (six sprays) for the first time, after taking a few ‘before’ pictures to monitor progress. My only previous experience with chemical hair loss cures is nine months of Minoxidil use, which did absolutely nothing positive for me, and I’m not currently using anything alongside Trinov, so this will be a fair test of the product.

I first heard of “Brotzu Lotion” back in June 2016, and I have held back on shaving my head in that time specifically because I wanted to try it first. It’s been a long thirty months.

So, this is it. I hope it works.

    • MAKH on February 3, 2019 at 12:16 pm

      Hi Dan,

I’m also a reader from England. Can I ask which pharmacy did you buy from ?
Thanks and fingers crossed for all of us.

      • Dan on February 3, 2019 at 2:55 pm

Hi MAKH, it was Farmacia Sant’antonio (the first link on the list provided in this article). No complaints about the process at all. I also find the product easy to apply as a spray.

  38. MAKH on February 5, 2019 at 12:30 pm

    Dan thanks for the reply.
I’ll probably give it a go, and try to post results / thoughts etc as and when.
There seems to a lot of early positivity.

  39. Jayson Robidoux on February 5, 2019 at 10:54 pm

I just purchased, on 2/5/2019. I’m a Norwood 6 so not expecting anything too overwhelming but if I can hang on to the sides up high and see some regrowth on the top or back you’ll see the pics in a few months!

  40. DAVID LEE on February 6, 2019 at 6:21 am

I am into the second week of trinov and say i have washed my hair every two days which i used to shampoo everyday and may have missed a few applications of the lotion which im angry withmyself for doing but i applied again today and its six sprays im using once a day and im also using an argon shampoo thats sulphate free.
I am in uk by the way as theres some more guys pointing that out as to being greasy its not and my hair is looking a lot better condition as im 61 im pleased at this time as its early days i have seen a very small amount existing tiny hairs on frontal region growing a wee bit longer.

  41. Manhattan on February 6, 2019 at 11:22 pm

I wanted to give everyone here an update for my first week.

I had big sheds before and after applying the lotion, very few hairs have fallen out. I used the advice for your scalp and hair being damp and put Trinov on at that time.

I have noticed small hairs (not vellus) emerge around my frontal hairline and the back of my head starting to fill up.

Like I said, I’m in the Norwood 5 pattern. The men on both sides of my family were around this pattern in their mid-30’s. I’m going to give this 6 months to see what happens and continue with Nizoral as a shampoo.

  42. John Smith on February 7, 2019 at 7:19 pm

Honestly, since I started taking it 3 weeks ago, I have noticed a near complete stop in shedding and the quality of my hair improve. I think they might have something here….Its hard to see any regrowth right now but if the shedding has stopped then its because existing hairs are getting stronger.

  43. Doug Goodwin on February 8, 2019 at 5:40 pm

I’m definitely seeing regrowth on my temple area, no shedding at all and hair feels thicker, I’m a diffuse thinner. How can I post a pic?

    • Follicle Thought on February 8, 2019 at 7:50 pm

Get in touch through contact page and we’ll work it out Doug, thanks!

    • Tomjones on February 11, 2019 at 11:37 am

Hi Doug! I would love to see what you are working with and any before or after pics. Wish there a way to communicate with you. I also have diffuse loss. Look forward to hearing from you!

  44. Craig on February 9, 2019 at 2:10 am

Doug how long have you been applying Trinov? And how do you apply it?

  45. Rich on February 9, 2019 at 9:36 pm

Just bought 3 bottles from Farmacia Sant antonio for shipment to US (took 3 days). Shipping costs were the same for 1 or 3 bottles so buy larger quantities if you can.

  46. Obed jamir on February 10, 2019 at 1:41 am

Talking about Trinov, I have male pattern baldness and with so much less courage I am trying minoxidil 10% knowingly causing heartache of after effects of shedding hair or coming back to normal baldness when stopped using. It is a pain to the world of baldness when with so much money country can invest in nuclear weapons and war, why can’t doctor’s come up with permanent solutions for man baldness through proper research. I pray miracle is created without reversing to bald back again with Trinov.

Points to be noted : It should have permanent hair regrowth without hairfall unlike minoxidil or any other. It must not be a business oriented hair lotion meant to lure hair business industry. It must recreate history to bring confidence in man. Take help of government investment and approach for proper research and permanent solution to thousand century old baldness problems. When man can transplant organs, tissue culture them, mutate and hamper genetics, it will not be a difficult task for mere hair regrowth formula when intelligent brains of mankind are tables in right directions.

Let’s make this thing happen and bring happiness to family and friends, countries and continents.

When will it be available in India ? Any pharm online that can ship to India ?? Please send me the link on my email to buy . My email is chamberpower10@gmail.com

  47. Peter on February 10, 2019 at 8:26 am

I am and I would like to know if trinov has anything to do with your DHT levels. Because I am and I need my testosterone because I am working out and I also wanna have sex drive. Please be kind and explain me how this trinov works. I am not interested into taking something like propecia

    • MRKA on March 4, 2019 at 8:03 am

Peter, dont worry. I have been on Propecia and Avodart for 20 years. I have been working out for 34 years now. All is good. I also get tested once a year re testosterone levels I have no issues. The internet is full of horror stories. Most likely the extreme cases report on side effects. I doubt they are representative for the majority of users. If you experience no problems there is less of a need to publicly state that. At present I read horror stories on IESON that they experience massive shedding due to Trinov use. It appears they use it in combination with Trinov. There may be anti-synergies. If you read that you may be tempted not using Trinov altough their circumstances are not applicable to you. The internet can be a vicious beast due to selective searches (confirmation bias)

  48. Craig on February 10, 2019 at 11:53 pm

Obed I am using Trinov now for 3 weeks and I think it is helping me a lot.I understand the pain you feel having to deal with hair loss .It has ruined most of my life for me as I am an old sad man now and have been sad and mad most of my life due to hair loss. I am using Trinov now like I said and it is working but it is still early,I would never use minoxidil again because of shedding.I pray this will work for men and women so they don’t have to be burdened by not having nice hair and listening to fake comments like I didn’t know men cared about hair from women when inside they know how important it is to them so why would it not be to men ? You can order online and they will ship to you.it is even on eBay now.

    • davelee30S on February 11, 2019 at 6:25 am

Hi Craig i am in my 60s now and been fighting this disease called mpb since my early 20s when i started getting the thinning on the crown and the horse shoe at the front and i tried minoxidil 2% in 1987 then when 5% came out i tried that and found the greasy lotion made my hairloss look a lot worse.
Then i tried 5% minoxidil which is still available in uk mixed with medroxyprogestorone which in the late 80s and into the 90s did thicken up my hair but it left whiteness like a powder on your scalp.
Then i tried many so called herbal naturals which did nothing but lower my bank balence.
Then in the middle 90s my doctor let me have off label finasteride which was 5mg proscar which i cut up into 4 and that did help for a short time and then dutasteride which i did take up to the max dose used in the trials but that i had to buy myself which was pricey and was no miracle.
Now i do use the theradome laser helmet which i have been using for two years and for me its kept my hair thats left in good check i did use it 3 times a week for a year or so now i use it on mondays and fridays after washing my hair.
As you guys know i have also started using trinov and still on the first bottle and at first used the spray now i am using as i did with minoxidil a 1ml syringe and i find that a lot better its a shame they cannot lower the price as i do not use the spray or there dropper anyway i do like the lotion and as said on other post i have so small regrowth around frontal edge of hair im not expecting much to happen on my shiny frontal receaded hair thats been like that for many years now but if it did start regrowing that to me would be a miracle but i will keep in touch on here.

    Hi everyone,

I’ve been following the conversation here & on other fora for a while. I’m NW4 + been using Minoxidil (5%) for over 5 years now, with little or no effect unfortunately. Decided to quit Minox & give Trinov a go as a last resort. Been using it for exactly 1 month now and happy to report that I’m experiencing the same outcome as most users. Started noticing improved hair quality after using it for 1-2 weeks (it’s been years since my hair felt & looked so healthy!) + have also been seeing the first new hairs appear on temples (hard to tell if the same is happening on top for the time being). Haven’t noticed any sides yet + no shed (although never really experienced shed with Minox either). Still early days of course but starting to get my hopes up, and feeling reassured that my eyes are not deceiving me when reading other users’ experiences. So… Looking forward to seeing what ‘ll happen next! I’m not taking pictures (yet) but just wanted to contribute & wish everyone good luck!

it seems other people have a worse condition hair loss then my self but seem to get the bottle to last the month out with big results .i scratch my head the bottle is way to small for the price it should be 60 ml . I’m using 6 sprays once a day but i run out in 2 weeks i scratch my head ..

  50. Joe on February 12, 2019 at 3:26 am

How do you take this product. Once you stay on, are you on for life, or do you take in a period of time, or how does it work?

    Best regards

  51. Follicle Thought on February 13, 2019 at 11:32 pm

Alex from Farmacia Santantonio has told me that there are sometimes unexpected delays for his pharmacy to receive the product from Fidia, and he is not able to update each customer daily. The shipments will be made asap, so please excuse delays for now.

  52. Jack on February 15, 2019 at 6:55 pm

Hi everyone, have now been on Trinov since Jan 3rd. It is summer here in Australia so typical to shed a bit of hair. Thought I’d add that as people on other forums have been stating that it’s winter ( seems they forget thers a southern hemisphere!) and any reduced shedding with Trinov is for this reason but no, summer here.

Ok, hair is way better. Less shedding. I loose heaps and am loosing about half. I don’t count them but I can tell as my hair usually comes out when it;’s wet ( it ‘s kind of long and curly and is loosened when wet and I have to separate the hair fall from the other hair-anyway-this has been way reduced and my hair is thicker, and in better condition. I now have hair on my temples that I haven’t seen for years. It’s coming in more but the trick will be if a lot of these become terminal and don’t stay vellus. Will be interesting to see after 6 months but pretty exciting. I never got this with any other treatments. As a result I am a lot less stressed and obsessed with
my hairless-another indictor of when a product is working for me.
On other forums people have been posting pictures and commenting on a similar result.

I would think that Trinov will be great for people contemplating a transplant, as it grows back those hairs near the temple( below the hair line -mid temple maybe it’s called. This gives a more natural appearance of hair growth all over which can’t be a bad thing.

Major gripe-it’s expensive, including postage. I hope it starts being sold n other countries. Efarma has been really good though-just pricey.

  53. dwain on February 15, 2019 at 8:33 pm

I’ve been taking this now for 3 weeks i think I’m the only one that its having a reverse effect I seem to be shedding more then i ever had .is anyone else having the same effect ?l I’m still taking it but I’m little scared .regarding others i hope comments hear are from real people *Edited because of content*

    • Jack on February 16, 2019 at 4:24 pm

Hi Dwain, Yep I’m real and have no reason to embellish the truth. Some people have remarked about some shedding but they seem to report that this stops reasonably quickly. I don’t think there’s any way that it can make things worse so it may just be your system adapting to it-I am no expert. I just know that I am way happier on it than not-except for the price.

      • dwain on February 16, 2019 at 11:52 pm

Thanks Jack I’m still on it just was concerned

  54. Hope on February 15, 2019 at 10:57 pm

Have any women here started Trinov? I want to start but am worried about major shedding.

    • vjlucas10@gmail.com on February 23, 2019 at 4:56 pm

Hope, I have started using it as of Dec. 24th. No major shedding at all!!
In fact I noticed less hair falling out in the shower more than any other product I’ve tried. Try it for one month and you will see the difference.

      Vicky

  55. Bart on February 16, 2019 at 10:49 pm

Any good regrowth results? How can I ship it to Argentina? Thanks buddies, we gotta work for the hair 🙂

  56. abundancegwappa on February 17, 2019 at 1:22 am

So I been doing scalp massages agrressively breaking up fibrosis and my scalp is really loose so I think it’s primed for regrowth. Been using Trinov for 2 days and I sprayed all over my scalp and next day when I woke up existing hairs that were straw like and weak were stronger and was way easier to style and poof up as I style my hair back and given that I’m a diffuser doing that look is a bit harder with the straw strength hair lol

Also every post-orgasm I shed like mad and my scalp gets oily but nothing so far. My dad was a good responder for minoxidil too so maybe that gotta somebing to do

  57. John on February 17, 2019 at 11:02 am

I live on the east coast of the United States. I ordered 6 bottles from Farmacia Sant’antonio on 2/8. My order shipped on 2/13 and I received it on 2/15. I paid using the PayPal checkout with a credit card. Total cost was $518.40. Cost may be different for others because of the currency conversion. I didn’t have any issues with the ordering process and I’m happy with the processing/shipping time.

The Trinov packaging looks “high end”. Each bottle is 30 ml and it comes with spray and dropper attachments. The instructions say 6 sprays or 2 dropper squeezes for 1 ml. I use the dropper. It spreads easier on the scalp than minoxidil liquid. It’s not greasy at all and dries pretty quick. 1 ml seems to be enough for full coverage. I do one dropper squeeze on the front/top and one on the crown/back. Obviously it’s too early to say if it works any better than the minoxidil/RU58841 I was using for years just prior to switching to this.

  58. Manhattan on February 17, 2019 at 11:22 am

I’m close to a three week update on Trinov so I’ll go by the details

Detail #1: Much less shedding but hair still falls out from time to time
Detail #2: My hair looks and feels better, I’ve been using Nizoral for shampoo now. My scalp does not feel as itchy or greasy. It looks less shiny too
Detail # 3: I’ve seen tiny hairs around where my frontal hairline used to be. I don’t hair was in those areas for years.
Detail # 4: The back of my head looks like it’s starting to fill in bit by bit.

Eventually, I’m going to order again. I still want to give this 6 months.

    • Craig on February 19, 2019 at 11:19 pm

Thats good news Manhattan I am about the same progress ,lets pray the treatment really starys kicking in. Will keep you posted

    • Suresh on February 23, 2019 at 8:19 am

Hi how is your progress any update

  59. radzikal on February 17, 2019 at 11:07 pm

Hello! I do not usually write posts but decided to add here since there is not enough information/feedback and the more data points we have, the better. I have been using Trinov for 4 weeks now. I ordered from Farmacia Sanantonio to the US. I use the dropper for the product and have been focusing the 1ml daily dose toward the first inch or 2 from my hairline backward. I invariably get some on my hair but feel the dropper does a good job getting the liquid on my scalp.
Here is what I have noticed so far:
    – Like other have commented, my hairfall has greatly reduced. I no longer see a lot of hair in the shower or on my hair brush like I used to
    – Trinov gets on my hair and seems to make my hair texture smooth and soft. Not something I like since I rely on my wavy wiry hair to stand and give volume to cover the thinning areas
    – I use a concealer and i noticed that when I apply it, i see large dots on my scalp like as though my pores have enlarged? I don’t know how to explain this and have researched but do not see anyone else post anything similar.
    – I am not seeing massive hair growth YET, but I have another bottle to use for next month and intend to use the product for at least 6 months.

    • Craig on February 19, 2019 at 11:15 pm

Radzikal Very interesting information on enlarged pores ,sounds like it could be new hair follicles being renewed. Please keep us updated . I have been on it about 5 weeks now and hair is feeling better and looking a bit darker and like you say smoother texture .I will keep all posted.

      • radzikal on February 24, 2019 at 3:38 pm

I have an extremely thin spot on front right which i have been dousing with Trinov. I, personally, haven’t seen results but I was at my family home this weekend and saw my brother after a few months. He specifically asked what I was doing to that spot since it seemed to be filling up. I guess him seeing me after months helped him see the difference I couldn’t see. I know this is rather soon to say but Trinov seems to be working. I’m being realistic and not hoping for the hair I had as a teenager but if I have the hair I had a few years ago, I’d be more than content.

  60. Mike on February 18, 2019 at 1:40 pm

I’ve been using this for four weeks now. I am seeing small hairs around my hair line starting to grow and even a few have turned light brown. The bald spot on my crown has gotten smaller as well. This stuff seems legit. I don’t think it will give me the hair I had in high school but possibly the hair I had in my late 20s (I’m in my mid 30s now) which I would be content with at this point. I use adenovital and the tesla brush in addition to this. I’ve stopped using Nizoral because it was frying my hair and making it brittle. None of the so called “big 3” worked for me so it is nice to finally have other options and actually see some progress for a change.

    • Trevor on February 19, 2019 at 6:10 pm

@Mike: What degree of Norwood type are you? Thanks.

    • Chris T on March 27, 2019 at 1:02 am

Hey Mike I had a question about the Teslabrush. I have been using it, but it causes me to shed, not horribly but at least 10 or more hairs during the session. Did you notice any shedding while using it?

  61. Leyla on February 19, 2019 at 3:35 am

    Hi,
ja trete anyone who can tell me whether Trinov is save to use during lactation? I wanted to wait another nine month until I stopped breastfeeding. My hair already was in a bad state before pregnancy, but with post-birth hair loss now kicking in it’s nothing but a mess.

  62. AH on February 20, 2019 at 12:12 am

I have just started Trinov two days ago specifically before going to bed. However, I am not sure if its a coincidence but I had horrible sleep since I started. I was wondering if Trinov raises blood pressure or simply make me agitated. will try to use it in the afternoon and see.

    • Chris on March 1, 2019 at 11:21 am

I’ve been doing the same thing for 6 weeks but can sleep like a baby. Try and take magnesium before sleep for a while.

  63. pinot on February 21, 2019 at 2:51 pm

AH, There are a very small percentage of users who have reported having trouble sleeping according to a few blogs/forums I have visited. No one knows for sure if Trinov is the cause. At least 1 user said this was quickly remedied by applying in the am. I too have had trouble sleeping and will begin applying in the am and cutting back the dosage as I use 3x the recommended amount. Do you use the recommended dosage?

    • Lisa on February 21, 2019 at 7:41 pm

First, thanks to everyone for sharing your results. It is great to hear that it seems to be working for many so far.

Given that some are experiencing difficulty sleeping, I am wondering if anyone had found whether any studies had been done for safety and side effects. My understanding is this is classified as a cosmetic rather than a prescribed drug, so does this mean they forego studies regarding effects to longer term health? It is one of the reasons I have not tried yet. I was not able to get much information on this. If anyone has found information on health and safety, I would be so appreciative if you can share the site with the information.

Lastly, if there are any women who have tried it so far, it would be great to hear about your results.

      • PinotQ on February 22, 2019 at 6:51 am

Lisa, I believe all of the ingredients: s-equol, Propionyl-L-Carnitine, & DGLA are safe for use in general. Equol is a byproduct of soy and the other 2 are made in the body which is why it can be sold without FDA approval. My guess is that the issue regarding sleep is related to dose and timing of application. Just as you might not drink coffee before bed, 1 of the above ingredients may tend to keep some people awake, depending upon their particular sensitivity, by either applying before bed or by applying too much before bed. In my minimal research, I am thinking that what may hamper sleep is Propionyl-L-Carnitine. I can’t specifically find where Propionyl-L-Carnitine disrupts sleep but I have read where the closely related Acetyl-L-Carnitine can keep you awake. I hope this helps.

Great information Pinot Q. Thank you. I would feel more comfortable using it knowing the ingredients are known to be safe.

          • PinotQ on February 27, 2019 at 9:26 am

Lisa, I thought you might be interested in this post I saw on another forum from a user that seems to be having positive results: “Another thing as mentioned by a few members here and other forums if I apply it before sleeping I toss and turn during sleep and wake up alot. So I started applying right after work. The problem went away.”

  66. DavidF on March 1, 2019 at 7:16 am

Hi everybody who has responded users and non users of trinov lotion.l have waited to see results from this new product that now available l am disappointed that results I have read not achieved my expectations that was suggested of trinov. It has l think been three months since release and use by customers paying out large sums of cash for very little benefits. Is it the snake oil in a different package I wonder? I think it was suggested we should support and encourage the companies even write to them to develop their product to promote hair growth for those who need cover over a balding head. When products fall short with a promise (may) grow it should be (it will) grow then it should never be allowed to be allowed to be in the market for sale.

    • MRKA on March 4, 2019 at 9:14 am

David, you have to wait until summer. Trinov is advertised as anti fall lotion. This makes sense as some may see regrowth. Others may not. Hence it cant be advertised any other way. I am sure there are legal reasons for that. I would continue for 6 months. Fingers crossed!!

  67. Dan on March 1, 2019 at 4:23 pm

    Trinov user since Feb 1st.

Originally, I had no intention of providing any sort of update until three months in, but I’ve been keeping up with the comments and I feel like it’s quite useful to read about the smaller, less significant things people have experienced, so…

I have had no trouble sleeping.
    – I spray in the evening, or occasionally at night.

I have not noticed any increase or decrease in shedding.
    – How do people even keep track of shedding? I lose several hairs every single time I shower, and this has been the case since before I began balding. To the people saying that shedding has stopped, are you now not losing any hairs when you shower?

I have noticed smaller hairs appearing (and disappearing), but only around my hairline.
    – Sometimes small and thin, sometimes long and lifeless, but never anything that would contribute to a hairstyle.

    My hair definitely looks healthier.
    – This is especially the case after I towel dry it following a shower. It also looks darker and I was fascinated to read others reporting this too, because I was sure my eyes were deceiving me.

Overall, I would say my level of optimism towards the product has reduced since the first application. I’m not sure that it’s going to actually bring any hairs back, even those lost a year or two ago. However, I think there’s reason to believe that it will contribute to the health of existing hair, and may end up being more beneficial to people that have had hair transplants.

    Another update next month. =]

  68. Manhattan on March 1, 2019 at 7:30 pm

I just ordered my second bottle now after the recent bottle ran dry. I can defintely say I have seen enlarged pores around my scalp. My hair line is slowly growing back when there wasn’t much for years. My bald spot does look smaller now. I no longer shed as much.

I’m still going to give this 6 months. I started in January and will end it on July to give it a shot.

This place is really nice to discuss new treatments in the pipeline. Like I’ve said, other forums just erupt into fights and arguments over which treatment is better and anything not done by Dr. Tsuji. I’m really convinced some people really don’t want new treatments for hair loss, they just want to use balding as an excuse to be miserable.

As before, there’s a bit of hostility to any treatment not from Dr. Tsuji’s work on those forums. We should be grateful multiple companies are working on this compared to a decade ago and not arguing and rooting for these companies to fail. It amazes to see how people act against their own interests some times.

Hope everyone is doing well with this!

  69. Leroy on March 1, 2019 at 8:03 pm

    Hi All,

Been following the build up to the release of Trinov with great interest and have been using it for 4 weeks now.

Other than the fact that my hair feels smooth/silky, I have not seen any evidence of improvement. I’m hoping that during month 2 this will change.

What I do find curious about all the comments above is that everyone seems to be reciting the same results over a 4 week period, and let’s be honest if it’s true that in one month you’re starting to see evidence of regrowth fine hairs in spots that have not had hair for years as some here claim, that’s huge for any hair loss product. One would expect excited posts of happy customers and yet we’ve not seen any photos of the results which in combination with my own lack of results in using this stuff over the same period makes me second guess the authenticity of the results claimed here.

I’ll monitor my own progress over the next month and hopefully see improvement.

    • Zaheer on March 13, 2019 at 1:56 am

      Hi all,

I’m in my sixth week and have not seen any new growth at all, except for a minor improvement in the texture of my existing hair. For the price of the product, I’d expect to see at least some evidence of the claims being recited here. I’m a bit disappointed at the moment; will try for 3 months, and if I dont see any improvement, I am going to stop.

After all, the claims sound too good to be true. I beginning to doubt the authenticity of the reports here.

      • Follicle Thought on March 13, 2019 at 8:30 pm

I’d like to be clear I do not guarantee the authenticity of people’s comments here, I only allow them to be seen. I really don’t see the need to create false reviews by a pharmacy or Fidia, the product already had enough hype coming out.

    • Leroy on April 18, 2019 at 10:51 pm

      Hi All,

I’ve now been using Trinov for 2.5 months and I am now convinced it’s not working for me. I can see visible deterioration of the thickness of my hair and am seeing shedding like I have not seen for years.

I thought I’d give it a proper 3 month run. Typically you want to give hair treatments 3 months for a fair assessment. I’m close enough to the 3 month mark to say with conviction that this stuff is not working.

I used propercia for some time and then went off it and maintained the gains from that with Minoxidil 5%. I saw decent results with that.

In order to give Trinov a fair shot I stopped everything and used only Trinov. At first at the end of month 1 I thought I saw some fluff on the edges of my hair line that gave me hope. At the time I couldn’t say with certainty whether that was the result of new growth or the reverse happening, thinning.

At about the 2 month mark I started seeing heavy shedding in the mornings when applying Trinov.

My hair now looks visibly thinner than when I started with Trinov.

I have started with Minoxidil again today doubled with dermaroller.

Spend your hard earned money somewhere else, Trinov does not seem to be delivering on the grand promises.

      • Russell on April 20, 2019 at 2:18 am

        Hi Leroy,

It is well known that people who stop using minoxidil get a massive shed after 2-3 months. Trinov would have to work incredibly just to conteract this and maintain what was there. And even if it was incredible, if it kicked in with a bit of delay, then you would still see a big shed before it started working.

So basically you haven’t given it a chance at all.

Yes, go back on the minoxidil. If you want to see if Trinov works wait until the regrowth from that has stop and your hair is more or less stable. And then add Trinov to the mix on TOP of this and see if improves. I assume you still have the Trinov bottles around, so you have nothing to lose…

  70. Petdro on March 6, 2019 at 3:26 am

I started using this about a month ago, no change yet, not one new hair, will try for 6 months. It is way over priced, and the dropper for 1 ml, has no line at 1ml, which makes me think, maybe this product is another scam like minoxidil. I am also using a derma roller twice a week to try to boost it.

  71. Christopher on March 7, 2019 at 3:22 am

Hey Australian 20yo male here who just got Trinov today, Someone else in the thread recommended Farmacia Loreto Gallo and I agree they are really good, its fast shipping plus seems to be of the lowest prices, at least for Australians. you can enter in a coupon code you can google for.

Anyway I’ve started applying and I’m documenting with videos and I’m used to documenting progress from gym, so I will post my results including videos and pictures within the next couple months to show my progress. Hopefully that will help others decide if they want it or not. No point in getting hopes up if it doesn’t do much. Also for people without a shaven head I think the dropper feels better you can get good coverage. Don’t forget to massage in the liquid afterward as that is part of the instructions since I know most can’t read Italian. I have a slight burning sensation on my head where I applied (very minor, not painful just like when you ear goes red and hot), it might be blood flow or something I’m guessing.

  72. MRKA on March 8, 2019 at 2:46 am

Thanks Pedtro and Christopher, I did not massage it in until yesterday. I have used it for 4 weeks now. No positive or negative observations (ie shedding) yet. I am also about to start microneedling with 0.25 mm before applying Trinov to enhance absorption. The scalp is then still damp since I wash my hair before needling. I read that a damp scalp improves distribution of topicals (eg minox) and also assists in absorption. Can somebody confirm this?

    • Craig on March 9, 2019 at 1:54 am

It has been better for me to apply to damp hair also, just not wet as it would dilute topical

  73. loco on March 8, 2019 at 1:19 pm

    Hii

I have ordered from Farmacia sant antonio and have been waiting for 3 weeks, someone has the same experiences

    • Craig on March 9, 2019 at 1:59 am

That is who I use and I get it in about 5 days

  74. Russell on March 9, 2019 at 11:28 pm

I’m a bit behind others here, but I ordered 3 bottles of trinov from farmacia sant’antino. It took 6 days to arrive here in Australia. No issues with customs like someone else reported.

I have been using it for a week, but nothing to report yet. It is far too early of course. The published ‘official’ photos don’t seem to show any significant results even at 3 months–only at 6–so I will be patient with this, and check how others further along are going.

I notice that on other sites lots of people are reporting hair shedding after a couple of weeks, but not many people here. I also saw a couple of reports from people discussing enlarged pores, like someone else reported here.

In terms of my history and routine:
I am 49 yo, Norwood 2 diffuse thinner, with a bit of recession at the temples. I have been using finasteride, minoxidil 5% and nizoral shampoo for 2 years and have responded reasonably well to date. My hairloss has stabilised, and I had some regrowth, particularly a small bald spot at the back I had, which has mostly disappeared. About 6-8 months ago after getting a little bit frustrated that progress seemed to have stopped I tried 10% minoxidil, which did nothing. I then tried lipogaine over the last 2-3 months which has result in more hairs beginning to sprout. It is a little like ‘fluff’ at the front, fine hairs a cm or 2 long, which hasn’t happened since I began treatment years ago. As encouraging as this is, my hairline still isn’t filling in at the temples. It is just thickening in areas where hair already exists. I am hoping trinov can improve on this and help my temples.

I am using the dropper to apply trinov, as I have a bit too much hair that would get in the way of the spray. I apply trinov once in the morning, then wait 15 minutes and add lipogaine. I notice the instructions for trinov say it can be combined with other treatments if you wait 15 minutes between applications. And of course I shake the bottle before use, again according to the instructions.

    • Russell on April 20, 2019 at 1:59 am

Have continued my treatement as above, and am now at the 6 week mark. The ‘fluff’ from the lipogaine treatement is still growing out–2-4 cm long now, mostly still very fine. As my normal hair is 10 cm or so long, it is still easy to spot this regrowth. As for a ‘second wave’ which is possibly due to Trinov, I can see a very few new hairs about the right length. Definately 3-4 hairs on my existing hairline, and perhaps a couple at the temples.

But is this new hair the Lipogaine or Trinov? If my hair was stable before adding the Trinov then I could reasonably assume the improvement was due to the Trinov working .But it WAS already improving, and I think the new hairs are just the lipogaine continuing to work.

As for my hair ‘improving in texture’ or see hair shedding reducing (or even increasing) as others reported, I see no change. Frankly as far as I can tell, Trinov is no better than water!

So am I discouraged? Absolutely not, for the following reasons:
      1) I am only 6 weeks in, and expect to try it for at least 6 months. 6 weeks is nothing in the timeframe needed to regrow your hair.
      2) I know this is no miracle cure, and am happy if it has a small positive effect.
      3) There IS some evidence that it works. There is the study Brontzu published in his patent application (see here for an article covering it:, the photos and I simply don’t believe Fidia would risk their reputation if it was completely useless.
      4) Some people ARE reporting that it works, even at this early stage, although many are not.
      5) There is always a lot of negativity around hair loss treatments in the forums, even for treatements that are proven such as finasteride and minoxidil.
      6) The cost is not an issue for me.

Will update again if I see any major changes or around the 3 month mark.

  75. Lana on March 12, 2019 at 7:55 am

I am thinking about buying a few bottles and giving it a go but I do wonder about the results. Do you have to keep on using it to maintain the effect or can you stop after 6 months? Does it work like minoxidil where, if you stop using it, you go back to shedding and losing hair? I would appreciate any kind of input.

    • Russell on March 13, 2019 at 7:37 am

      Hi Lana,

I think that you will almost certainly need to keep using it to maintain the effect. It is a treatment for hair loss, and not a ‘cure’.

A slightly longer answer is that it consists of three main ingredients:
–Propionyl-L-Carnitine — helps with absorption into the skin
–S-Equol — a non-steroidal estrogen derived from soy that decreases DHT.
–Dihomo-Gamma-Linoleic Acid (DGLA) — an omega six fatty acid.

According to Dr Brontzu this last ingredient may decrease DHT, increase blood flow, and encourages the growth of new blood vessels.

So if you stop taking it, you will no longer be suppressing the DHT poisoning your hair, and the blood flow will return to normal.

As for how long you should be taking it, Dr Brontzu said it takes 18 months of use for the full effect.

  76. luis on March 13, 2019 at 11:24 am

Hi, I have also ordered at Farmacia Sant’antonio, but my 3 bottles of trinov have not arrived. I asked and got an answer that they send it late. Now after 4 weeks I have asked again but no answer, I have the feeling that they have ripped me and do not know how I should proceed.

    sry for my english

  77. anonymous_user on March 13, 2019 at 2:43 pm

Note to admin. It seems alot of people are mistrusting the reviews and coming to false conclusions. I believe a comments based review system, where you cannot post photos or at least monitor or follow each review.

I suggest you find a solution for this internally or otherwise move this discussion onto a proper treatment website. for example realself.

    • Follicle Thought on March 13, 2019 at 8:28 pm

Everyone is free to use realself, I only allow people the opportunity to comment here. The truth is I have been approving every user comment about Trinov. This is the best I can do, if people want to use Reddit or Realself, feel free. I obviously am not getting anything out of the Trinov product which is popular among many websites, not just mine.

  78. Didi on March 13, 2019 at 6:41 pm

Started using trinov 4 weeks ago. Unfortunately, I can’t ascribe any results or non-results I might achieve to trinov alone since I have restarted using minoxidil and finasteride again at the same. However, I had discontinued minoxidil and finasteride about 3 months ago after using them for about one and a half years previously (stopped for unrelated health reason). Minoxidil and finasteride had not lead to regrowth effects (although I did maintain). Perhaps that counts as a baseline reference in a very unscientific way.

Either way, I have not observed any difference in my hair in the four weeks whatsoever, not even smaller new ones or fluff – zero change, which I guess can’t be expected in four weeks. One thing did strike me earlier today that seems worthy of mention. My hair loss is pretty much solely on my hairline, temples and front midline. It has been very aggressive and receding and thinning very fast. My hair is otherwise fairly thick and dense though. This has lead to me concentrating everything on the frontal area and using a lot of it since most of it tends to get lost in the rest of the hair and (I feel) not hit the scalp as much as I like. My bad, but both the trinov (after work early evenings) and minoxidil (once in the morning and once late at night) ends up rolling down my forehead quite often. What I was shocked with is that my eyebrows are extending to places where they haven’t before and which look highly odd. Smaller but very black and distinct, isolated, hairs way down below where they usually stopped, to the right of the skin around my left eye (the side with worst recession). On the left side, there are smaller but quite strong, very eyebrow looking, hairs extending practically up to the right of the hairline. Those were definitely not there even when I was on min and fin the previous periods. Freaked and plucked them before going out, but I am definitely gonna let those beasts grow again just to get a photo.

The dropper that comes with trinov is crappy in one aspect. Yeah, nice that it’s glass and that there is fancy packaging, but I’d trade all that for a simple gradation markers on the dropper to show me what 1ml is (pump spray is useless for me to reach through the hair). I notice too that there is a lot of white residue on the inside of the dropper and that I get small white flecks (not dandruff) too. I think they haven’t optimised the dissolution of certain ingredients. Moved over to using a cheap plastic dropper I had anyway that had markings (even if I, mea culpa, ignored the markings sometimes anyway…). Took photos every week since starting, if there is anything positive to report on the area that I actually care about, shall post them. Problem is, as I mentioned, that since I restarted the other two, it can’t be attributed to trinov. If it brings me back above what I had before at all in a shorter timeframe, it possibly could be to a degree.

  79. Manhattan on March 15, 2019 at 10:27 pm

So I’m on my second month on Trinov.

I’ve been thinking about doing a dermapen or a dermaroller for my scalp in order to enhance hair growth. Has anyone been using these tools for their treatment?

    • MRKA on March 16, 2019 at 9:41 am

Hi Manhattan..am starting to use two dermarollers from next week onwards. 1mm for neogenesis once a fortnight. 0.25mm for better absorption every other day. Have used a dermapen but found it too difficult to position the instrument always at a right angle. I hope dermaroller will be easier. I only have to needle the front.
Sadly, I am experiencing increased shedding right now what concerns me a lot. Have been using it for 5 weeks

    • davelee30 on March 16, 2019 at 9:50 am

Hi i have been using trinov just over a month now and am still on the same bottle although i missed a few days my hairloss has not got worse and i notice some white hairs appearing.
I still use the laser helmet which has 80 cold medical use lasers which i have used for two years as i find some benefit to it imk very happy to report here and carry on using trinov.

  80. Skeptic on March 20, 2019 at 9:22 pm

Trinov is 100% working on me. The areas which were clearly visible , bald near the front of my hairline are not much more coloured from what I believe is preliminary hair regrowth.

Are the ingredients that go into Trinov extremely expensive. Can’t believe how little you get in this botttle….

  85. Joy on March 31, 2019 at 12:59 am

I’m a female, started using trinov 3 months ago. I don’t usually leave comments, but i thought sharing my experience might help someone who’s still thinking of giving Trinov a try.

    – Only Trinov, no other regime. Uses on hair line + temples
    – Scalp itching has almost gone, happened only once. Prior to trinov, every few weeks my scalp would itch
    – No shredding phase. Average daily hair loss reduced from 10-15/day to 5-10/day, depends on the day hairstyle and toppik

    – I see two kinds of hair growth:
+ 50-70 new terminal hairs 2-5 cm (looks like a few sprouting spots, depending where I part my hair I can see 20-30 hairs sprouting on each spot). I see new terminal hairs on area where I haven’t seen terminal hairs growing in the last few years. Not all areas where I use trinov I observe this result, so I guess it depends on hair growth cycle.
+ velus hair – 1-2 cm growing near my hairline, around it and right below the new terminal hairs

Overall – I secretly hope for a miracle but my analytical mind reminds me to be reasonable. I would give this at least 12 months try, and will continue if the growth continues. My logic to myself is simple: it takes few years to lose hair, since this is not a stem cell based solutions where you can transfer in an unlimited amount of hair, it will take some time for the scalp and the hair follicles to heal and regrow.

    Sorry no pics.

  86. Jack on March 31, 2019 at 5:14 am

Just 3 days away from 3 months. I’ve seen significant reduction in hair loss and patches of vellus hair where I haven’t had for years. Still too early to see if any of this results in r growth but the reduction in loss is exciting, and as I said significant as one of my pastimes has been of late in untangle hair balls from my hair. Haven’t dome this for a few weeks now. I’m hoping that by 4-6 months I can see exactly where this is leading. Also I ve added Biotin suppliment about 10 days ago and that could also be helping. I would recommend that to people as well if you re not using it already.

  87. Rajeshwer on March 31, 2019 at 2:48 pm

    Hi
Completed a week on Trinov .
Apply it in morning after shower and before bedtime.
    Shedding has reduced from 15-20 hair to 5 – 10 hair .
Itch has almost gone but I do feel it sometimes for short period .
My other observation is I feel bit of acidity for almost an hour after I apply this but it gradually goes away , I will observe more for concrete opinion .
I feel more oil on my face during daytime.
I had buildup on my scalp and it’s almost negligible now .
    So far so good .

    Will post next week .

Its been some time since its release of this product and still no indication if the product works. If it does why as you have suggested those people using the product are not sharing photos of change/no change are they shy or will not accept its not working.
I am for one very sorry for those people spending so much money on a product that does not appear to work.I suggest that if it was working to reduce hair loss/hair regrowth it would have made headline news by now. I have read all the reviews to date and have still not been convinced so suggest you don’t spend any more money or time with this product. .

    • Jack on April 11, 2019 at 6:29 pm

Hi David, are you using Trinov and is this what you have found personally?

  92. DAVID LEE on April 12, 2019 at 4:25 am

I wonder if using RU58841 anti androgen topical with trinov would gain better results for male users.

    • Jack on April 12, 2019 at 7:45 pm

Used it for 12 months and it doesn’t really do much.

      • DAVID LEE on April 13, 2019 at 12:02 pm

Hi Jack did you mix your own ru or buy the premade as its better to make your own.

  93. Didi on April 12, 2019 at 7:11 pm

This whole “I am now only losing 5-10 hairs per day” stuff is wearing a little thin (pardon the pun) – it’s just not credible. I’m not contesting the legitimacy of all posters that say that; but the concept is flawed generally and is genuinely a little suspicious in other cases (considering that representatives of the pharmacies involved also post here). Anyway, I posted before – I’ve been losing hair very rapidly since the last time I posted (one month ago). Those crazy hairs I mentioned seem to have returned but I think are down to the minoxidil and fin – I made sure not to let any of the trinov to roll down below the hairline. Strange I didn’t see it happen before, but perhaps I have been more rigorous in my regime this time around.

Either way, I am starting to lose trust in the product. Again, a little unscientific since I have not given it time. What I mean is the predicate for trying it in the first place is perhaps flawed – not extensive enough studies, not the profile that matches me (I am neither female, nor suffering from trachyonychia, nor of the age bracket that the very limited studies were performed on) and naturally no “track record” for the product generally. That said, the principles on which the product is based, on the other hand, seem solid enough. I’ve taken photos, but to be honest, since things have gotten rapidly worse, and since I am not purely using Trinov only, it makes little sense. Since I (naively) bought a lot of it straight off, I will continue using – my spidey sense just tells me this will probably just turn out to be an overhyped snake oil. I’ll be happy to be proven wrong but the recent loss just seems not to tally up – the hairs I lost seem to be coming back as nothing but fluff and so it doesn’t seem to be a “thinning and then returning stronger” scenario.

  94. Christopher on April 14, 2019 at 7:46 am

Been using this for a bit over a month now (missed a few days), some people are saying hair fall has reduced, some have said it’s done nothing or increased. I took a video before I started, and I’ve noticed in a month my hair fall has significantly reduced. If I try to pull a clump from the top of my head, I would notice well over a dozen hairs come out before I started. Now when I do it, I notice only 1 to 2 hairs. Unless there is some other reason for this sudden reduced in hair fall, I do think Trinov is having an effect. I’m not dermarolling or using any other product. Just normal dose and using the dropper and my hand to rub it in well.

  95. Rajeshwar on April 14, 2019 at 12:29 pm

    Week 3
Have been applying in morning after shower . Hair fall is still under check . 4-5 strands a day . Itching was not there this week, but I do feel dryness on scalp .

  96. David F on April 15, 2019 at 3:50 am

Hi to everybody who entered their comments and observations on use of trinov lotion.l only wish you all would get the results you deserve full hair growth.Clearly this does not appear to be happening. If you had read the trinov review testing it was sketchy and poor photography of hair growth and its claims was not a indicator that the product was not going to achieve the promises it made. This product being available globally thousands of users shurely one or two have had good results by now I don’t mean less hair fall or fuzzy sign of hair that then fall out.I want to see big hair.l suggest that Trinov should be challenged to collect photographic evidence report on users experience to prove its success it would only enhance their product and sales. I don’t this will happen.I suggest to you that 1. you e mail trinov your view.2.don’t purchase any further product from Trinov.3.stop counting hair loss have a good diet keep fit and healthy exercise.4.enjoy life’s full experiences.l am sure the solution to hair loss we all want to see happen is so close our question will be answered a treatment that actually works.

  97. MRKA on April 15, 2019 at 12:18 pm

I have seen the latest Facebook ad for Trinov.
Finally, I am now convinced that this product is just totally ineffective.
I was suspicious right from the start as the whole Trinov development process appeared to be rather unprofessionally managed and communicated.
Compare that to Medipost CM-3 and you know what I mean.

  98. Anonymous Lurker on April 20, 2019 at 3:09 pm

Anonymous lurker here, wanted to share some comments:

Firstly, I’m thankful for everyone reporting here, especially those doing so at 3 month mark and hopefully later. I agree with few above comments that stating that “losing 5 hairs less per day” after two weeks and such doesn’t sound convincing, anything could be behind that (natural cycle of hair growth, stress, diet, medicines, Trinov, you name it). Also, I personally couldn’t even tell the difference of “losing 5 hairs less per day”, how would anyone notice something like that is beyond me. If Trinov is of any notable help we should concentrate what happens past 3 months, it’s then when it should really start kicking in (if it ever does..).

Next: while I’m sure there might be one or two comments from those people benefitting of increased sales commenting I would like to think most of the above comments are genuine. Moderator could perhaps spot if same email or IP address are used for several comments under different names but using different email or IP is very easy if wanted so it won’t be conclusive.

Last, and not least: still not questioning all the appreciated details here but if this is the game changer we all have been waited for there would most certainly be before-and-after photos appearing soon SOMEWHERE where happy users are showing the world this works. I know that when a treatment work most people are happy and don’t want to spend their time anymore browsing forums and blog posts and rather just move on and live their lives so not seeing photos all over is not fully conclusive. BUT! If NOBODY can share photos of Trinov really working by mid-2019 then I will say this is not a working solution.

In brief what I’m trying to say here that please share long term reports, there are LOTS of people reading these updates from you guys and gals, probably more than you can think of. BUT if no photos anywhere in coming months then we are basically asked to believe anonymous posts on the Internet about a cure for something that has been untreatable so far, I for one am not going believe before I really see something.

With respect (I mean it): pics at least from one or two cases or it didn’t happen.

    • Lisa on April 21, 2019 at 5:01 pm

Well said anonymous lurker. I totally agree. Losing 5 less hairs a day could also be attributed to an error in accounting for loss hairs. Hair falls out throughout the day, when we don’t even realize it and the fall out for a normal person is between 50 to 100 hairs a day. Also, minute differences of a few hairs a day are not the best indicator whether a product is working.

Rather than just reducing hair fall out, it is even more important that it grows back, so I would be more appreciative if anyone using Trinov can share pictures of the re-growth of healthy hairs.

    • Granger on April 24, 2019 at 10:40 am

I will try to update my results as best I can over the next year or so. I started Trinov about a month ago but I coupled it with several additional therapies that could work synergistic-ally. These other approaches are:
      1. Rogaine 5% foam, twice a day
      2. Rogaine 15% liquid once every three days but only for the temple area of the scalp
      3. Nizoral 1% Shampoo twice a week
      4. Biotin Shampoo, five days a week
      5. Trinov twice a day (five or six sprays each time and massage it in
      6. Scalp Massage once a day to loosen up the skin and create elasticity.
      7. Micro needling each part of the scalp with great precision. This is painful and causes some blood. I do this one only once a week and I think it’s the most powerful regrowth mechanism in the arsenal.

After a month of this, I have started to notice new hair coming in on the crown and a few new hairs coming in in the temple area. The balding crown area has gotten smaller and I see a lot of new small hairs sprouting in areas that could potentially give me some good coverage.
I am going to continue to monitor my progress with this new regime and see how much hair I can regrow in exactly one year’s time. I only have pictures of my scalp from a few years ago (2014 maybe) and I’ll compare those pics with what I am seeing from these treatments in a few more months….maybe another seven months, just to give all of these treatments time to do their thing.

  99. Rajeshwer on April 21, 2019 at 11:03 am

    Week 4
Completed a month on trinov .
It has checked hair fall as of now , apart from that don’t feel much difference , but its too early for anything to appear and even if it checks hair fall that still makes it good for me .
Itching not there, bit of dryness is there.

I am a male and first purchased Trinov when it was first available .I have given it on honest try only to be let down .I was already very thin but still had hair it was just thin and see through . I had hopes of Trinova thinking it back up and then I would look half way normal but it has left me the worst I have ever been to the point I am indoors everyday except to work were I can wear a hat.But it has left me totally hopeless now to the point I am thinking of taking my life every part of the days and nights .I don’t want any sympathy comments .I am in the process of getting my will and last wishes made with an attorney now. It is really evil and very sad for men and women to have to got through life like this when it could have been cured a long time ago but there is too much greed pout there and people just prey on us .I have suffered for 35years with this and just am too tired and empty now . Thank you people that understand but I have even lost all faith in above . May you people all some how be bless with a cure but It will not come with love bye

    • MRKA on April 23, 2019 at 12:20 pm

      Jack, don’t panic.
Start with Finasteride or better Dutasteride.
Wait for NGF-574H to become commercially available. It will be released soon. See how it goes. There may also be positive news from Sisheido and/or Histogen.
You may try microneedling as well.

However it looks like it that Dr. Brotzu should focus on diabetes and not hairloss.
Its too weak to make a difference for most people. Its basically a useless product. Hardly better than water.

I am convinced that positive reviews are not honest. You can buy them these days.

    • Lisa on April 26, 2019 at 12:35 pm

      Craig,
I saw your post several days ago and wanted to reply, but didn’t know how best to respond.

I am also sad to read your post and have dealt with similar feelings in the past only to have those feelings change later. It is frustrating dealing with hair loss and to hear about and try these never ending would be solutions that never seem to pan out. It leads to feelings of hopelessness, but I hope you can talk to someone about your feelings to help you through this difficult time. I do believe we are getting closer to a solution.

Pharmaceutical companies are about how much money a drug can make and where to spend research dollars usually starts in their marketing departments. They decide to allocate research dollars based on the worth of the addressable market and in recent years the addressable market has grown as they have recognized a greater number of women are dealing with this problem as well. I see many more articles in women’s magazines in the last few years, so I would think the incentive to find a solution has increased significantly. Women are known to spend $$$ on beauty products, and companies realize this, which is why a big cosmetics brand like Shiseido is putting money behind a solution, which is a really good sign. As David F mentioned in his post, Shiseido has the answer and it will happen soon as many companies are racing to be the first to a real solution. Take care and stay tuned.

    • Antonio on June 10, 2019 at 8:28 pm

Craig, we all hope for a medical solution but in the meanwhile there are other options. Please check this web site. It may be what you are looking for.

    Monthly update:

end of Month 4 using trinov. Started as soon as it was released.

See previous posts regarding to hair texture. That continued to improve, but less drastically. Hair feels good.

I do feel that my hair loss has stabilised and the hair I have improved in quality and visible density at the front of the head. its too short a sample size to see if this is a long-term solution.

Anyone making definitive judgements at this point (good or bad).

But I have to be honest. So far so good but my expectations where low. Excited to continue. I made peace with the financial outlay to cover 18 months to truly test trinov.

Hi Craig read your comments sad news. I am aware from my experiences where you are at in your head.I would speak to family or a close friend right now. if not contact the Samaritans. Craig I believe as stated in the last post shsheido has the answer and it will happen soon.Take care

  103. DougO on May 4, 2019 at 1:39 pm

I have started using Tinov on the front of my hairline. Have been using Trinov for about 30 days now. I used to use Rogane on both my bangs and crown. Rogane has definitely been effective on my crown, and I thought ineffective on my hairline.

I apply Trinov once per day in the manner and amount instructed. Results and observations after 30 days:

1.) Rogane was much more effective than I realized. After discontinuing it’s use for 30 days, I’ve lost a lot of hair in front.

2.) Trinov, so far, shows absolutely no sign of any progress of any kind. No spouts, no thickening, no nothing. Just rapid hair loss apparently due to stopping Rogane.

At this point, I wish I had known the difference Rogane was making and I wish I could get my month-ago hair back.

    • DougO on May 4, 2019 at 1:45 pm

Just to make clear, I’m not a shill for Rogane. I’m just a guy who is losing hair. I strongly wish there were something that worked better. I’m not a giant fan of Rogain, it simply accessible to me and does help. That is the only reason for the comparison.

      • DougO on June 21, 2019 at 8:32 am

After around 90 days of daily use: still no results whatsoever. No sprouts, no thickening, no nothing. I am going to give this another 30 days. If after that there are still zero signs that this product does anything, I’ll stop and write it off as just another phony (expensive) baldness cure rip off. I hope that is not the outcome.

  104. Curtis on May 13, 2019 at 10:40 pm

So during 2nd month of trinov I was worried as I had the worst loss ever and the horshoe was slowly coming in from the side and crown, and for the first time this year my crown started shedding and deteriorating quick, next would be the middle area (front is diffused the most but hairline intact for the most part a teeny recession to the side of my right temple).

Anyways I started February 13 and now I think it’s near 3 months and went to the barber recently and he was shocked with the quality of my hair and noticed a cosmetic difference and said it felt Thicker. I kid you not even after shower it looks thicker and better coverage overall, I see tiny hair in my right temple too starting to grow longer everyday so k. Really excited.

I’m super optimistic and don’t want to jinx it hit but really think I’m beating male pattern baldness as my scalp feels super healthy and hair thickness to existing hair and overall density is what it was 2 years ago. I have a medium fast metabolism (whatever the definition of someone that can gain weight and muscle and loose it easy im including) and been on some thyroid supplements as well and have been doing the detumescence therapy and I’m pretty active. I used to do raypeat , immortal hair, avoid pufa, setipiprant etc and this thyroid stuff I’m taking now but nothing ever worked and i was still regressing until Trinov.

    Opinion
People need to go through the purge aka horrible trinov shed l it’s part of the natural hair cycle and is an indication that trinov is getting rid of hairs that were supposed to die and reset the hair cycle.of others cause I went through a horrible shed and my gf was roasting haha but last 2 weeks she’s been commenting how noticable positive improvement there has been . Oh and No SIDES woot

    Regimen

    – 1/1.5ml dropper a day after morning shower (maybe like 2 a night/week I do it if after a shower)

    – I do detumescene scalp massage and my left temple is loose and left hemphishere of scalp and that’s where regrowth and density improved the most , right hemisphere is stiff and I can feel the califciation and bump Imma crack that f*ka out of it but ya do your scalp massages I definitely think there’s a synergy and it best primes the scalp grow growth in combination with a dht blocker. But still the right hemisphere of the scalp is alive and healthy and marked improvement in density like yo my hair in terms of density is like 3 years ago the coverage is not exactly the same as the frontal are needs more regrowth but overall theres enough coverage to the point I can hide my thinning temples and i feel like its slowly gonna fill in there more i massage too

    – I smoke weed and vape and always debated quitting as I felt it was progressing my hairloss over the years but now I smoke the same which is everyday and sometimes like 3-4 times a day on. Weekends when chillin and my hair still doing good now with trinov and dont shed intensely like before. Maybe something with the estrogen from weed and trinov doing sumting

    – take thyroid and multivitamins meant for people that smoke weed lol like legit that’s the product niche but yea it could have a role

    Scalp Shape Rant
I think its critical for me to really tackle the calcification and in my right hemisphere in the frontal temple area and the ridges to get rid of that M-shaped temple look, I think the relatively speaking more looseness of my left temple compared to the right is why the regrowth has been fastest. Also overall I feel like theres been some nasty bown growth on my temples don;t think trinov can do shiet for that unless i do other interventions but yah

but anywhoo im so far very please with Trinov

  105. Eric Fischler on May 22, 2019 at 11:53 am

Hi All, this will be my 4th bottle of Trinov which I apply using the dropper and now spray nozzle 2 x daily. I have also started using a .5 and 1.0 derma roller once a week (1 month now) to improve absorption. I am using it primarily at the temples and hairline. Much to my dismay I have noticed ABSOLUTELY NO CHANGE. I will finish the 2 bottles I have left but will not be purchasing again. I have to agree with the readers here that the product is a bust. Anyone with a contradictory experience/remark feel free to reply. Best of luck to all as I’m sure something more effective is on the way in 2020.

  106. Petdro on May 23, 2019 at 8:31 am

I did feel similar to you Eric, and wrote a similar frustration on here, my routine is also similar, but the advice is once a day not twice? I think any medicine, will take 6 months to 2 years before you see a difference. Same with a hair transplant. It is how the hair cycles work, So if no one has seen results in 2 years, then we can safely say the product is not fit for purpose. Like minoxidil. Only works in a minority.

  107. jackausJack on June 19, 2019 at 9:28 pm

  108. Anonymous Lurker on July 6, 2019 at 7:29 am

After a few months break from the balding business I dropped by here and at few other sites to see whether there would be positive news about Trinov anywhere. Apart from few individuals who have posted mildly positive comments I can’t find anyone posting photos showing notable improvement or reporting remarkable change for the better.

I am concluding that, unfortunately, Trinov was not the miracle cure many people hoped it to be it.

I would love to be proved wrong (as I’m desperately in need for something that works and can’t use Propecia due to side effects) but as of today I see no evidence Trinov being worth the effort or money and I will not start using it, been let down too many times in the past with all sorts of hyped treatments that end up just taking your hopes, money, and time.

So a pretty please with sugar on top, if you have come across some hard evidence anywhere where Trinov can be shown to have the cure we all have been waiting for then please share links to before and after photos or other such evidence.

Celino is currently being released in Korea as a cosmetic topical treatment. They have a facebook page to keep track of developments and a man on Youtube is trialing the product and plans to release an update on his progress.

  109. Michael Granger on August 3, 2019 at 6:48 am

I’ve been using Trinov daily for over six months now. I have not seen any real noticeable change in density, coverage, thickness, whatever. To make matters sound even worse, I’ve also been using Rogaine, Dutasteride (2mg daily), Nizerol shampoo (alternating with a Biotin shampoo), micro-needling once a week, daily scalp massage and using this Rogaine/Minoxidil topical spray.

Basically…nothing. Except for a few black hairs that started growing in the hairline that hasn’t had hair since 1995. So that was a surprise. I’m not sure what happened to that hair though. Anyway, the results form all of this are probably not worth the effort but I’ll solder on. Nothing better to do. .

    • John on December 5, 2019 at 4:04 am

Thanks for sharing your story. Vigorous scalp massages showed some very positive results. At 6 months you show nothing and do those daily?

  110. Dominic on October 7, 2019 at 12:18 pm

Trinov is the biggest disappointment. I have used it twice for 1 week each time. The first time I used it I had lost so much hair after 2 days of use, and continued losing hair every day until a few days of stopping usage. The very first application gave me itchy and watery eyes the next day, along with runny nose. The 2nd application continued to give me the same problems only my runny nose has progressed into sore sinus and sore throat, so bad that it was almost unbearable. At first I thought I was coming on with a cold, which I rarely ever get. After a week of suffering from all these symptoms, I decided to discontinue usage and wait to try again some other time. A few months later, I tried using Trinov again. This time I experienced the exact same side effects. We all lose and grow hair every day but at a different rate. If using Trinov makes us lose more hair than gain back, and gives us all sorts of crazy side effects, then I would have to say this is the biggest poisonous and expensive snake oil I have ever seen. I’m so disappointed with Trinov that I am wasting my valuable time to leave this comment so others will not have to fall victim to such a scam. I have dumped 4 bottles in the garbage and would not even consider giving these to anyone else.

  111. jackaus on October 11, 2019 at 6:47 am

I’ve been using Trinov since January 2019. Although it hasn’t done much in the way of regrowth i think for me it is working to prevent further loss as my hair is thicker now than back at the start of the year and I loose less in the shower. I will continue using until something better comes along. For anyone wanting to sell their Trinov please reply as i would be interested in purchasing as long as you don’t mind shipping to Australia!

  112. Clem on October 12, 2019 at 11:30 pm

Hi, I had a friend pick up two bottles when they were in Italy. Was using for 1 month and noticed decrease in shedding. I am now pregnant and wondering if I will need to stop. Would be a shame as it’s so expensive! There’s nothing on the website about Trinov and pregnancy. Any one have any thoughts?

  113. Leonardo on March 9, 2020 at 8:29 pm

Totally useless shit. Had used it for 6-7 month since it came out and it made my hair much worse then before.

  114. Mark on April 15, 2020 at 7:48 pm

So many people using and praising this product but not a single ‘before’ and ‘after’ picture…..

Saying you’ve stopped shedding or your hair feels better & firmer is all good BUT what really matters is does it look good and are your bald spots disappearing…?
